I. Physical Properties
- Low density and lightweight: With a density of 0.10-0.70g/cm³, it is only 45%-60% of ordinary PP boards, showing significant lightweight advantages. Different densities are suitable for scenarios such as packaging and automotive interiors.
- Closed-cell structure: The closed-cell structure makes its water absorption rate nearly zero, and the thermal insulation performance remains stable in humid environments.
II. Mechanical Properties
- Moderate compressive strength and high toughness: It has moderate compressive strength and excellent toughness, and is not easy to deform after repeated bending;
- High impact energy absorption: It has strong impact energy absorption capacity and can replace TPU and EVA in energy-absorbing components such as bumpers.
III. Chemical Properties
- Corrosion and solvent resistance: Resistant to acids, alkalis, salts and most organic solvents (avoid strong solvents), suitable for scenarios such as automotive interiors;
- Non-toxic and environmentally friendly: Non-toxic and odorless, no toxic gases are released during combustion, meeting food contact standards and applicable to food packaging.
IV. Thermal Properties
- Excellent high-temperature resistance: The long-term service temperature can reach 120ºC, and the dimensional stability at high temperatures is much better than that of foamed polyethylene, suitable for microwave containers, etc.;
- Efficient thermal insulation: The thermal conductivity is about 0.035W/(m·K), better than that of foamed polyethylene, making it a core material for cold chain logistics and building insulation.
V. Processing and Application Characteristics
- Easy to process and form: It can be processed by die-cutting, blister, welding and other processes, and can also be compounded with PET aluminum-plated film to improve performance;
- Dimensional stability: Minimal dimensional change in high-temperature or humid environments, not easy to deform during long-term use;
- Recyclability: 100% recyclable, in line with EU RoHS standards, and is an ideal alternative to EPS.
VI. Environmental Adaptability
- Anti-aging and UV resistance: Ordinary products have weak UV resistance, but weather resistance can be improved by adding anti-aging agents or coating, suitable for outdoor panels;
- Customizable flame retardancy: It can reach UL94 V2 or even V0 level by adding flame retardants, meeting fire protection requirements.
VII. Comparative Advantages Compared with other foam materials:
- More high-temperature resistant than EPS: EPS is usually used below 80ºC, while PP foam boards can work stably at 120ºC.
- More environmentally friendly than PE: PE foam boards are difficult to recycle, while PP foam boards can be recycled and non-toxic when burned.
- More chemical corrosion resistant than PVC: PVC is susceptible to organic solvents, while PP foam boards perform better in acid and alkali environments.

Q5.How does your factory do regarding quality control?

Q6. What is your packaging?
A6. Our conventional packaging is: After doing the anti-rust treatment, wrap the plastic film around the machine and then fix the machine on the wooden bracket.
Q7. How can we check the machines before delivery?
A7. We can provide online checking when testing the machine on site. We will take and prepare detailed testing videos for your checking before the delivery. We accept third-party testing. Except above points,we will provide detailed testing report.
